Introduction:

Hanafi is a management consultant and communication trainer with a focus on Southeast Asia, in particular Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Originally from Indonesia, he has been based in Singapore for the past seven and a half years. Prior to his current profession, Hanafi worked for A.T. Kearney, an American management consulting firm, and ABN-AMRO Bank. He has lived and worked in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Experiences:

Since 2003, Hanafi has worked for firms in the following fields:

Intercultural training for expatriates

Business briefings for frequent business travellers in Asia

Communication and personnel development trainings / workshops

Hanafi has a strong interest in cultures and languages. He is fully bilingual in Bahasa Indonesia and English, speaks French, Spanish and German and is conversant in basic Mandarin.

Competencies:

Intercultural training design and execution; covering working, living and business in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia

Facilitation of workshops on how to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders

Implementation of corporate strategies into Asia
