Introduction:
 
Layla is an excellent example of an Arab Gulf National woman, challenging the cultural stereotype. She has designed, conducted and co-facilitated a number of management and cross-cultural training programs in France, the UK, Austria, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman, Bahrain and the UAE. Layla is the founder and president of the Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR Arabia) and member of the SIETAR Global Council. She is also the Research Director for the Global Academy of Peace, and an adjunct faculty at the University of Dubai. Her first book “What’s After High School?” was published in 2006 and has been used as a guide by high school students for their career planning.
